Suicide Squad has spilled a much better look at what we can expect from the upcoming film and I am impressed. Suicide Squad is going to heavily depend on whether or not we can like the characters. We know they are “bad guys” but they still have to be redeemable – at least a little. If they are bad and undesirable, there is nothing to make you want to root for them. They are being conned into being the good guys and we have to hope that some if not all of them find some value in that. This trailer gives me hope that at very least, whatever angle they are presenting these characters as… it is looking pretty entertaining. It will be interesting to see where these characters fall after the events of this film. Some may become anti-heroes, some may be worse than they ever were and now free in the world and available to be badguys in future DC films. This is rapidly becoming one of my most anticipated films of this year.
