Despite many bad photoshopped images claiming the day which Marty McFly would travel to the future in Back to the Future 2, the real date is in 2015. We are desperately close to looking forward to the wonder technology they predicted. While it is still unlikely we will have a useable version of the hover skateboard, it appears Nike is looking at making sure at least one technology will exist. Power Laces.

designer Tinker Hatfield showed up at the Jordan Brand’s Flight Lab space in New Orleans yesterday. When asked about power laces, his answer was pretty unequivocal:
“Are we gonna see power laces in 2015? To that, I say YES!”
