I Fucking Love Science leaps to TV with Craig Ferguson

The Facebook page I Fucking Love Science is a gathering place of all sorts of oddities in the science world, that not only educates you on how amazing our world truely is, but it also entertains.

Well it will be taking the next logical leap to TV on the Science Channel (with a bit of censorship in its title) via Green Mountain West Productions and Karga7 Productions, and today at South by Southwest in Austin it was announced that Late Late Show Craig Ferguson will host. The show will feature segments that range from live action to animated to share scientific factoids.

The Wrap shares Ferguson’s statement:

“If you know anything about me, you know I love science,” said Ferguson. “Science has a naughty secret — it’s that all things are connected. And this show is going to explore the randomness of science. Think of it as a late night Google search that goes a hundred pages deep until things get weird — and then you just keep going. And there is no better partner for this kind of smart entertainment like Science Channel and Elise.”

The Elise in question is Elise Andrew, a British Biology student who created the Facebook Page three years ago which now boasts over 10million followers.

What this will mean for the fan supported content on that page is still unknown. Perhaps the LikePage on Facebook will simply become an official page for the TV show instantly garnering it 10million Likes.

I look forward to seeing what the show has to offer.
