I did enjoy me some Mark Ruffalo’s Hulk and the latest rumour is that Hulk’s self imposed exile will end with Thor: Ragnarok.
ComicBookMovie is reporting:
“The report states that Thor, facing Ragnarok itself, will team-up with the Green Goliath. While it’s unclear what the ratio of Banner to Hulk screentime will be, Hulk is said to be a featured “prominently” as part of the supporting cast.”
Ragnarok is said to feature locations on Earth as well as Asgard and a yet-to-be-identified third planet. Now I actually hope that Thor crosses paths with the Hulk on this extra planet and we get to see some sort of World War Hulk setup. Maybe at the end of the movie Hulk will continue his exile and we will then see that evolve into World War Hulk.
WWH was hands down the most interesting thing I have ever seen them do with the Not so Jolly Green Giant. Hulk’s story has never really had that much depth as it seems to just be variations on the “just leave me alone so I can be less mad and therefore less Hulk” but WWH has him embrace his rage and rule a planet because of it!
Will Marvel have the balls to do World War Hulk, or will Hulk just be the one dimensional muscle machine that doesn’t get his own film?
